Featured Issue: Revista Científica UDO Agrícola Vol.11 No.1

Sweet sorghum is a type of sorghum plant containing a high amount of sugar. Sweet sorghum is the focus of an article in Revista Científica UDO Agrícola vol.11 no.1, titled "Biomass production and sugar concentration in two sweet sorghum varieties in the Huasteca Tamaulipeca region" by Gutiérrez et al. In this article, two varieties of sweet sorghum - M81E and Fortuna - were planted in Tamaulipas, Mexico to determine if they were suitable for ethanol production. Biomass and sugar concentration were the two variables measured in the study.
